About

The genesis of the Sacred Rest Stop came from recognition that we are thirsty for embodied subtle connection. We are so dehydrated that many of us are past the point of even recognizing thirst. People today are searching for sources of intimacy with our selves, one another, the natural world and That Which Holds Us All.

We are an evolving sacred community where curious, sincere-hearted people can:

  • Stop. Physically rest. And realign the nervous system within the magic and beauty of In the Garden Farm – a 10-acre working urban farm.
  • Forge deep intimate connection with yourself and others through creative gatherings, classes and informal community get-togethers.
  • Be welcomed just as you are. We actively foster cross-race, cross-class, intergenerational and cross-faith (or no faith) connections.

It is our highest intention that we are respectful, inclusive and loving to all. We strive to create and maintain equity. We are committed to keeping this space as free as possible from the distortions of racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, Islamaphobia, ageism, ableism and other related societal ills.
