Social Justice Activist Meditation
May 6, 2018 @ 3:30 pm
$15Social Justice Activist Meditation
If you identify yourself in any way as a social justice activist (or would like to) you are warmly invited to this community meditation session… all hands and hearts on deck!
No matter how intensely or easily you identify as an activist, we can all relate to feelings of protracted states of overwhelm and periods of hopelessness in response to the fear mongering, crudeness and immorality that characterizes this political moment.
And yet we continue responding to the injustices we see and experience with great power, agility, perseverance, intelligence and collaboration. We here in Austin, Texas are a city of some of the most kick-ass activists in the country!
Let us break the very real and dangerous cycle of over-extension and over-exhaustion that many of us face by practicing alert, compassionate witnessing of our inner state.
Let us come together to build our potency as individuals and a community by building our individual and collective potency through still awareness.
I need it. You need it. We all need it. B-A-D-L-Y!!!
