Social Justice Activist Meditation
August 26, 2018 @ 10:00 am
If you identify in any way as a social justice activist (or would like to) you are warmly invited to this community meditation session… all hands and hearts on deck!
There’s no doubt that we can all relate to feelings of protracted states of overwhelm and periods of hopelessness in response to the violence, fear mongering, crudeness and immorality that characterizes this political moment.
So let us take a break from the very real and draining cycle of over-extension and over-exhaustion that many of us face by practicing alert, compassionate witnessing of our inner states. Give yourself a much needed rest. Let’s regenerate our individual and collective potency through quiet, still awareness. I need it. You need it. We all need it.
